2023 LAF Patron of Architecture Award Recipients

Mayor Ken Ritter

Since becoming Mayor in 2015, Mayor Ritter has supported and promoted local development and construction, which has been critical to the city’s prosperity. This created an environment that promotes the advancement of architecture and design, not only in Youngsville but in Louisiana.

Dr. Jack and Mrs. Pat Holden

For about 50 years, the Holdens have collected, assembled, and created their vision of a Colonial-Creole/Acadian world with significant buildings and objects made and used in Louisiana that date from the Colonial era to about 1830. The Holden’s lives embody the best of Louisiana and American historic preservation and stewardship.
